Sergeant Michael Manfredi is a 25-year veteran police officer, who is currently a sergeant with the South Strabane Township Police Department, is running to fill the vacant post of Magisterial District Judge 27-3-05 recently held by Judge Jay Weller, who retired.
Mike is also a member of the Washington County Drug Task Force and a part-time officer in East Washington Borough. For 12 years he served as a task force officer with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Mon Valley Drug Task Force.
As a result of his 25 years of experience in law enforcement, Manfredi has prosecuted, in this same court, thousands of cases which include criminal offenses and arraignments, summary traffic and non-traffic. Manfredi also appears on a regular basis before Judges in the Washington County Court of Common Pleas and United States District Court of Western District of Pennsylvania. This experience makes Sergeant Michael Manfredi qualified to be your next Magisterial District Judge.
Michael Manfredi is a lifelong resident of Washington County, a Trinity High School graduate, and a graduate of the Police Academy at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
He lives in South Strabane Township with his wife and children. Manfredi is seeking both the Democratic and Republican nominations.
